Title page laid in last end page removed, the front hinge is cracked the balance of the book remains tightly bound. Foxing on edges. Booksellers label on rear pastedown. Sermons include: The Purpose of Comfort; The Soul's Refuge in God; The Man with One Talent; Humility; The Shrotness of Life and others. Brooks is probably best known for authoring the Christimas Carol "Old Little Town of Bethlehem." He also introduced Helen Keller and Anne Sulivant to Christianity. ; 8vo .
