New York, New York: Sheldon Dick. Fine in Fine Dust Jacket. 1933. First Edition: First Printing. Hard Cover. 91 pages: 8.25 x 11.5 in.: 2: Signed by Author: KB#010204: Contained in labeled book box. Box is in Very Good condition, with light rubbing at corners. Book is a Limited Numbered Edition (#317 of 400, without holograph manuscript), SIGNED BY AUTHOR (Edgar Lee Masters) on last page. Boards are bright red paper with light brown tweed cloth spine and gilt lettering on spine. Boards and pages are clean, unmarked, brightly colored, tightly bound and sharp cornered. Book is protected by original publisher's tissue dustjacket, which is in Very Good condition with only slightly worn/repaired corners. Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. The six long poems in this book constituted a miscellany of Master's thinking from various years and moods. One of the poems (Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and the King Cobra) particularly attracted favorable attention when the book was published. .
