Randall Jarrell was just as dynamic as the topics he wrote about: both poet and poetry critic, he has been called "a veritable Typhoid Mary when it came to generating pleasure by engaging in poetry" (Eder). His talent earned THE SEVEN-LEAGUE CRUTCHES a finalist position for the 1952 National Book Awards for Poetry. An attractive copy. 8.25'' x 5.25''.
