New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1931. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. 280pp. First Trade edition. Green cloth boards with coloured paper title label to the front board and spine. The boards fresh and bright, the spine a little sunned, more at the spine ends, clean and unmarked througout, the binding tight and square. Dust jacket with little chips at the corners, with shallow chipping to the spine head, with a couple of very short closed tears to the edges, spine sunned with light crease lines visible. A nice clean copy.
Synopsis
This tale was published in 1931. Willa Cather's Shadows on the Rock tells the tale of a young girl, her widower father, and their friends, all of them working to make a life for themselves in Quebec in 1697.
