About This Item
First edition, first impression (John Murray, 1929).
Publisher's original red cloth with lettering to spine and upper board in gilt. A better than very good book with the usual spotting to edges, preliminaries and final couple of leaves. Red top-stain still nice and bright. Small sticker to bottom corner of front paste-down.
The original and unclipped dust jacket is similarly better than very good with a little fading to spine panel and a small area of staining to spine foot. One or two very small nicks and chips to spine ends.
An excellent example in significantly better condition than usually encountered.
