Stories selected, and with an introduction by Walter Allen. Illustrations by Edward Ardizzone in black & white and some tinted in colors. --- In full rust cloth-covered boards with "D" and elaborate decorations to cover, both in gilt. Titling in gilt on black spine block. Slipcase covered in maroon paper. Sandglass flyer laid in (Norwalk, no. IX: 36). --- Overall, volume is in excellent shape, clean, unmarked and bright but with a hint of sunning to spine. Slipcase also in excellent condition but with slight rubbing & sunning.; Octavo (8 to 9 in. tall); xx, 423 pages .
