Includes "The Middle Years," "Mrs. Medwin," "The Beast in the Jungle" and others. --- In Toledano spine G5 / pale green cloth / gilt titling & ML torchbearer oval on red cover & spine blocks / faded red topstain / blank GA style endpapers / jacket style Gd, verso advertises 371 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1954 (though 1945 date appears in book). ML #G11.3. --- A loosened front hinge has been repaired on this item; with mild age-toning to leaves and acidic staining to endpapers, else a tightly-bound, unmarked, sound copy. Fair-only, brittle dust jacket with numerous tears (including full-length one at spine), darkened spine but remaining mostly intact and protected in new removable mylar wrapper.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xx, 644 pages .
