Color plates and b&w drawings. VG with minor wear and marks to the cover. Text clean and unmarked. Uncommon signed. Dr. O. Currier McEwen was an internationally recognized authority on the hybridization irises. He was dean of New York University of Medicine and was instrumental in founding the NYU Medical Center. He died in 2003 at age 101.
