About This Item

Very rare first South African Hardcover Edition (1994 MacDonald Purnell) signed and dated by former South African President, Nobel Laureate, and esteemed struggle hero, Nelson Mandela; The book is clean, tight, and very well preserved; The outer dust cover is showing minor wear at edges and in miscellaneous areas, now protected in mylar; Signature provenance provided to the buyer. While signed Mandela copies are available, it is uncommon to find one in this first South African iteration (Stated "First Published in South Africa in 1994", with no other printings listed). A rare piece of history, seldom appearing on the open market.
