Abilene, KS, 1969. unbound. Scarce full signature of the World War II German General on a First Day Cover honoring President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Postmarked in Abilene, Kansas, on October 14, 1969. Very good(+) condition.<br/> <br/> von Gersdorff attempted to assassiinate Hitler and was able to go undetected due to the silence of those caught and later executed.<br/> <br/>
