Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light sunning with crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy sunning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean. Prominent white discolouration to rear due to water damage.

Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned.
