Binding bumped, dented and shelf worn. Both endpapers cracked with previous owner's name and address and a small piece of paper attached to inside front end paper with the names of other novels by Anthony Hope. Frontispiece missing. All other pages intact. Binding cracked at p.145; spine loose at back board. Some foxing. Publisher's catalogue dated November 1887 takes up 40 pages at the back of the book.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by W. St. J. Harper. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
