12mo (7.25" x 5"); 277pp. Eight double-sided plates with film stills. Illustrated paper wraps with French flaps. Most pages still uncut. Title misspelled "Signal" on front. Covers unglued down spine and front, but still intact and attached down back, and binding loosening between individual page gatherings. In need of tightening and repair. Yapp edges shelfworn with expected creasing and tiny closed tears. Covers otherwise bright and clean. Vertical creasing down spine. Paramount Films S.A. stamp on half- and full title. Pages toned and a few creased, but all legible and unmarked.
Brazilian photoplay edition of DeMille's 1933 film The Sign of the Cross, starring Fredric March and Elissa Landi. The film was the last of DeMille's biblical trilogy, preceded by The Ten Commandments and The King of Kings. No copies found in OCLC at time of writing.
