About This Item
London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1969. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 9" by 5.5". None. The first UK edition of this thrilling Ross Thomas espionage novel. 'Ross Thomas is unique. His novels of intrigue and adventure have inspired reviewers to compare him with Len Deighton, John le Carre and Noel Behn.' Thomas was a writer of crime fiction and thrillers, who also wrote under the pseudonym 'Oliver Bleeck'. Some of his other novels include 'The Cold War Swap', 'Cast a Yellow Shadow', and 'The Fools in Town are on our Side'. In a cloth binding with clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Just a couple of marks and some light shelfwear to the boards. Dustwrapper is sound, though with some handling marks and a few small closed tears to the extremities. Bookseller's label to front pastedown, with ink signature to front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just the odd spot. Very Good Indeed
