New York: G.P. Putnam's Son, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Very Good in a Fair jacket, unclipped ($2.00), generally toned and soiled, large chips at the top edge. Blue cloth, rubbed at the edges, with dark blue ink on the spine and front board. Bound with some reading wear and a forward lean, blue top stain, toned at the endpapers, clean otherwise. Forester's naval adventure of Seaman Brown who finds himself "trapped on a lonely desolate wasteland in the Pacific.
