Corners bumped, tears and chips in spines. Residue from label on lower spine and rear pastedown. Hinges cracked internally. Scuff on front free endpaper and top of p. 15. Pages neat and clean except for stain bottom of p. 106.

Tributes to Conan Doyle from various celebrities, including other authors. There was more to the author's legacy than Sherlock Holmes. Includes family genealogy, experiences in the Boer War, crusades for justice, life as man of letters, etc.
