New York: Knopf, 1955. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. 1st Printing (as confirmed by McBride). Inscribed and initialed by author on the front free endpaper. Book has minor shelfwear on bottom boards at tips and spine, slight tip pushes, smudges on text block edge and internally. Otherwise, tight, straight with rigid boards. Dust jacket is not price clipped but has 3" loss at spine bottom with teat along front fold and chipping and loss, folding at most edges and tips. Spine and cover tanned. Actually looks quite smart in its shiny new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping with a non-price listed purchase order inside along with biodegradable packing..
