Red coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured illustration and titles to the front panel and gilt and black coloured titles and black coloured illustration to the back strip. Selected essays of Sir Thomas Browne. Series editor  Ernest Rhys. Softening of the back strip edges with bumping and rubbing of the book corners. Fading to the back strip with rubbing of the book panels. Light browning of the text block edges with scattered foxing. Foxing of the endpapers and first few pages and last few pages of the book with age toning of the pages. A previous owner has made some very light pencil marks to some of the margins. Previous owner's name to the top right hand corner of the free front endpaper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [7], VIII - XXXI, [2], 2 - 262, [6  further titles from publishing house] pages,.
