Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co., Inc., 1962. 8vo. xvi, [2], 460 pp. Gray cloth, blue & gilt lettering on front cover & spine (slight shelfwear), w/ d.j. cover art photo of Nixon by Philippe Halsman (minor edgewear, slight rubbing), NF/VG copy, signed in auto-pen on second flyleaf, w/ printed Thank You note from from Mamie Doud Eisenhower, on White House Stationary, in original envelope dated Oc. 24, 1955, addressed to Dr. Robert Bedrossian, El Paso, TX. First edition, signed, of this flawed President’s memoirs of decision points during his political career including the Alger Hiss Case, the Fund Speech of the 1952 Campaign, Eisenhower’s heart attack, the Kitchen Clash with Kruschev, and the 1960 Presidential Campaign.
