New York: The Modern Library / Random House. Very Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket. [c.1964]. Hardcover. Six plays by the very talented American actor, screenwriter and playwright in a Modern Library edition. Mr. Odets achieved success in the 1930s and 40s and was lured to Hollywood in 1936 where he stayed for a good deal of the rest of his life. With a preface by the author and an appendix containing introductions to 3 of the plays by Harold Clurman. --- In Toledano spine 10 / rust cloth / ML hex logo blindstamped to front cover / gilt-stamped spine titling / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style i, verso lists ML titles, but no total number. Likely published c.1964 (though 1963 date appears in book). ML #67.2. --- Two of three textblock edges with orange-ish toning, covers and interior of volume tightly-bound, clean and bright. Unclipped dust jacket with two large bruises to front panel from sticker removal, and with minor chips and small tears to edges but remaining bright and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo 7" - 7-1/2" tall; x, 433 pages .
