About This Item
NY: P. F. Collier & Son, 1939. A set of P. F. Collier editions, six of them, in the original mailing box. One side of box has been taped, as shown. The books are as new, five of them still have the original glassine on on them. Noted: the titles are THUNDER MOUNTAIN 1935, glassine very good with some chipping, RAIDERS OF THE SPANISH PEAKS, 1938 with the glassine having a finger nail size chip near the edge of the spine and a 1/2 by 1/2 inch triangular piece lacking in the upper right center, WEST OF THE PECOS, 1937, good to very good glassine wrapper, WESTERN UNION, 1939, with good to very good wrapper, THE LOST WAGON TRAIN, 1936 with upper right and center of glassine affected as shown with a couple of small holes in glassine in 1/3 of the bottom area and KNIGHTS OF THE RANGE, 1936 with no glassine. Books are in fine unread condition. Embossment on the front of each, one is shown. The box still has the label on it, "Six Volumes Bound in Orange Colliertex." Interesting, as probably not many survived in the box. Box is in good condition as shown-with tape residue and some writing on it. See photos. Thank you.. 8vo. Reprint. Cloth. Fine.
