Contemporary Brown Half-Leather Binding with Marbled paper-covered Boards & Leather Corners. Spine divided by Gilt Lines with Gilt Title in 2nd "Compartment" and Blind tooled Decoration in others. Includes a detailed CHRONOLOGICAL TABLE , from the Creation of the World to 1453 and the fall of Constantinople. 336 Pages, 8 3/4" Tall. No Maps as this volume contains text only (A seperate Atlas would have been used). Some edge wear and rubbing to boards. Leather split down sides of spine and rear board detached and refixed with white hinge tape. 2 pieces of leather missing at spine ends (1" lomg, see photos). Previous owner's name (antique inscriptions) on ffep.No other inscriptions. pages in very good condition except for an occasional spot of foxing. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" Tall
