About This Item
London: Goliard Press, 1966. 1st Limited Edition. . Paper Cover. Plain paper covers. Unpaginated but 13 sides of minimalist poetry with illustration pages on coloured paper. Saroyan's first solo publication was issued in a run of only 450 copies. Concrete poetry. Tissue guard has fragments of leaves contained within. Unfortunately, lacking the dustwrapper it was issued with. Green ink blot to top of both covers, first free endpaper and a tiny one to top of one of the illustration pages; child's drawing with green felt tip pen to outside of back cover and ink scribble on penultimate page facing publication details. One internal page which bears the words 'incomprehensible birds' is rather dusty with a faint mark. Otherwise unmarked inside and tight. Size: 5 x 6.5
