Blue cloth, silver title on maroon panel to spine, no dustjacket. 249pp. With 13 b&w photos in plates, including photo of the author as frontispiece. The novelist's involvement with aircraft, especially his life as an aircraft engineer working for Airspeed in Britain in the 1930s. A Good+ copy, clean and bright, apart from foxing spots to closed edges; paper scuff and tear to back endpaper. Photos available.
