About This Item

Circa [1940s]., [1940s].. Very good. - A slip of cream-colored paper, 2-5/8 inches high by 7 inches wide, is inscribed and signed in black ink: "With all good wishes / John Howard Lawson". There is light offsetting to the right side of the paper where a small piece of tape adheres to the verso. There are 2 very light vertical creases where the paper was once folded. Very good.

John Howard Lawson [1894-1977] was an American writer who for several years was head of the Hollywood division of the Communist Party USA.
