This 1968 Coward-McCann 1st American Edition, 1st Printing is the great, late master's fifth novel. It is in Fine/Very Good condition. The hardback and text have no interior markings, but for a neat signature by the original owner on the title page (can be removed if requested). The bright orange boards are crisp, tight and clean. There are small bits of mottling to the publisher's orange top stain. The DJ is not price-clipped and is clean and unmarked, with a minor chip on the upper back and minor wear on the upper and lower spine. Note: The novel was serialized over 7 episodes for BBC Radio 4 in 1982. **Brenbooks specializes in 1st edition mysteries, many signed.
