She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She was educated at Stanford University and at Yale University and has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Mac Arthur Foundation Fellowship (2012); the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award (2009); and the Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship (1997), amongst others. Lê is currently the Charles Franklin Kellogg and Grace E. Ramsey Kellogg Professor in the Arts at Bard College, New York. As a teenager Lê fled Vietnam with her family in 1975. They eventually settled in the United States as refugees. Her work often addresses the impact of war on culture and on the environment. Lê says her "main goal is to try to photograph landscape in such a way that it suggests a universal history, a personal history, a history of culture." Text: engl. Protection of privacy
We, the antiquarian bookshop peter petrej, only record the necessary data. They are solely used for transacting the order and to facilitate the purchase of the repeated customers. With the order the customer accepts receiving our newsletter with the latest offers per e-mail. All personal data are confidental and will never be passed to third parties.
Terms of payment
Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.
Sales return
In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
Place of venue
We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
