Authors inscription dedicated to Peter. Illustrated by Pat Nevin. Pages are fairly bright overall, with light tanning and foxing to endpapers and page edges. Former owner's name on front endpaper in pen, with grey rubbing and a few small nicks to text block edges. Some very minor dog-eared corners. Occasional faint finger marking throughout. Slightly cracked guttering with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Slight tanning along spine and board edges. Mild rub wear to most surfaces, with minor bumping to corners and crushed spine ends. Boards are noticeably bowed. Tiny dent to joint. Jacket is slightly tanned and foxed, with mild chipping and small tears to corners. Flaps are unclipped. Scuffing down joints, with mild rubbing overall. Tiny creases to upper and lower edges.
