Edition limited to 500 copies. 4to; original green cloth, lettered in black on upper cover; pp. vii + (i) + 172; numerous line drawings, tables, photographs, maps, including folding. Cloth slightly stippled; a little foxing to endpapers and edges, occasional fox spot elsewhere. Good to very good condition. "This volume completes the series of monographs describing excavation in Later Stone Age deposits of the Orange River Scheme area." The excavations mentioned in the text include Ventershoek, Lemoenfontein, Holmsgrove, Goodlands, Glen Elliot, Damplaas, Blydefontein and Merino Walk. .
