Sunning and fading to spine and spine label; slight stains, rubbing and browning to covers (cloth/boards; chiefly at edges); slight bumping to corners; slight internal browning to edges and endpapers. [2], 126, 4 pages. Text of the 4-act play, plus additional essays and poems; notable particularly for Clarence J. Bulleit's rendering in modernized English of the 'Anglo-Saxon' (i.e. Old English) poem 'The Wanderer' (complete with caesuras), and C. L. Crittenton's versions of 3 poems by Leconte de Lisle. Index to Volume 17 (3 pages) at rear. Original wrappers (printed red and black) bound in at front and rear.
