Bound in cream cloht over slate paper-covered boards, silver lettering on spine. In the dust jacket, price of $21.95 intact on front flap. Signed by the author on the half-title. First printing of the first edition. A bright, attractive copy. Dust jacket is now housed in a clear, archival (and removable) sleeve.
Synopsis
Snow Falling on Cedars is a novel written by American writer David Guterson. Guterson, who at the time was a teacher, wrote the book in the early morning hours over a ten-year period. Because of the success of the novel, however, he quit his job and began to write full-time.
