Radcliffe-Brown to honour his leaving the University of Chicago to assume the chair of Social Anthropology at Oxford, in 1937. This enlarged edition was Radcliffe-Brown's own copy, with an ink inscription from the editor, Fred Eggan, to Radcliffe-Brown 'with respect and admiration' on the front free endpaper. Clean, tight and sound copy of this collection. Very good in an unclipped dust jacket which has slight damage to edges and is rather age stained. xv + 574 pages, bibliography, notes, index.
