Very good. <p>The first issue of an annual anthology of new writing publishing stories, poems and essays and illustrated with photographs and drawings. Among the contents of this issue are stories by Patricia Highsmith and Tobias Wolff; essays by Joseph Brodsky, Christopher Hitchens, Philip Roth and David Rieff; and poems by Carol Ann Duffy and Andrew Motion. There is also an extract from "Lanark", an illustrated filmscript by Alasdair Gray.
