New York: Longmans, Green, and Co., 1900. This antique hardcover book is bound in dark green boards, with a reddish cloth spine and a green spine label. Cover has red lettering and an illustration. Cover is rubbed, with wear; library markings within, as well as pasted-down newspaper clippings on endpapers, repaired hinges, cocked spine, edgewear, and tanned pages. Illustrated with black-and-white drawings by the author, this is a semi-autobiographical account of Irish life. 309 pages; approx. 5"x8".. Ex-Library. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. Illus. by E.
