About This Item
New York, New York: American Social Hygiene Association, 1939. Very good. Minor toning, short tear to lower foot of spine, a little rubbed at extremities.. Printed sex education pamphlet distributed by the New Jersey State Department of Health titled "Some Information for Mother". Penned by a man, the book presents itself in the form of a story in which a humble fisherman explains the birds and the bees to a professor's children using exclusively nature metaphors. Presumably, it is meant to be a guide for mothers on how to approach the topic of sex with their young children. It purports to be the ninth printing, with the first in 1914.
16mo (6.25" by 3.5"), pp. 16, with in-text illustrations, stapled in original printed wrappers.
