Black coloured textured paperback binding with red coloured decoration to the front panel; with gilt and red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Set in Derbyshire, and of a curious local tradition (actually true) that allowed the local priest of a particular village to marry couples without the powers that be being able to dissolve or stop said marriage – much like Gretna Green.
