Endowed with a scholarly mind, he had many and varied interests as is evidenced in this book in which he put aside the clinician and wrote on diverse matters that interested him. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Previous owner's inscription, lavish, in ink to pre-title page. Black titles spine & front. the top outer corner of pages 31/2 has been torn loose but re-fixed with archive tape; also a single tiny hole passes through the outer margin of many pages - probably insect damage. green cloth.
