About This Item

Robert M McBride, 1930. Hardcover. Fair. Robert M McBride, 1930. Book. Fair. Ex-library, with the usual stickers, stamps, & pocket.Limited numbered edition, but THIS COPY LACKS THE LIMITATION/SIGNATURE PAGE. No jacket; corners and edges bumped with some show-through; spine slightly soiled and edgeworn. However, binding is tight and the actual text is bright and clean (save for the occasional library stamp). Good reading copy of Cabell's survey of some of his literary peers of the 1920s, including H. L. Mencken, Sinclair Lewis, Ellen Glasgow, Joseph Hergesheimer, Theodore Dreiser, Elinor Wylie and others..
