About This Item
[New York]: Limited Editions Club, 1990. Edition limited to 550 copies, this being the bookbinder's unsigned, unnumbered contributor's copy, without a slipcase; large folio, pp. [24]; 6 full-page photogravures by Aaron Siskind; black leather spine and front fore-edges, spine gilt-stamped, green cloth over boards by Greg Campbell, Campbell-Logan Bindery. Fine. The photography in this volume represents the last project of Siskind's life, and was published a year before his death in 1991. Tar over concrete produces a series of winding, textured forms in Siskind's typically abstract style.
