London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1923. First illustrated edition of his first book, published under the name Walter Ramal in 1902. One of 310 SIGNED numbered copies with illustrations by Estella Canziani. Printed on hand-made paper and bound with vellum spine and boards. Spine a little soiled, corners bumped and spine ends have a few chips, otherwise very good condition.
