Grey boards, red cloth spine with silver titling, charming and/or amusing black and white illustrations throughout, 301 pages. Cover has light edge wear, more wear to lower front corner, text block edges darkened, end papers foxed, book appears to have been some sort of library book at one time: four date stamps inside front cover and a notation "5c a day" on end paper. Dust jacket, which is price-clipped, has edge wear with chipping at corners and spine ends, white portions darkened, but generally clean and bright amusing illustration on front.
