Sydney: Collins Bros. printers, About 1930.. Soft cover. Good. 31 x 25cm. The Unrivalled Cricket Scoring Book, made of improved sight-preserving paper. With the amended rules of the game as passed by the Marylebone Cricket Club. With the logo of a map of Australia with "Graphic" printed across it. Probably from the Bodalla Club as they played in all the matches scored between 1931 and 1933. At the rear are the records of two matches played in the Southern Highlands of NSW played by Hill Top against Thirlmere in 1949 and Buxton in 1951. 44 used pages, out of 70, plus a few notes at the rear. Dark green limp cloth. Well traveled and used condition, the binding worn and soiled with the bottom hinge weak.Contents, mostly inscribed in pencil, is clear and legible but there is some fingering and soiling. Overall a decent enough item, allowing for the fact it will have traveled many miles in cricket bags and endured much handling by team members.
