In a large and hopelessly overcrowded county jail (Sedgwick County Jail) a dedicated volunteer layperson rose to become the jail's first chaplain. To men of violence, drug addicts, alcoholics he took the message of peace, compassion, forgiveness, and especially God's love. In prisons, men began to share stories of this man whom some began to call "the Sparrow". A clean very presentable copy.
