About This Item

London: Printed for Frederick Etchells and Hugh Macdonald by the Shakespeare Head Press, 1926. Limited Edition, numbered 40 of 50 printed on Bachelor's Kelmscott paper; this from a larger limitation of 450. Vellum Binding. Very Good binding. A lovely edition in full vellum with later neat burgundy silk ties; largely unopened textblock; some offsetting from the front turn-ins has affected the perimeter of the first 5 leaves--this is not an issue with the back turn-ins; nevertheless, uncommon in this condition. The upper board is bowed.~~. Very Good binding.
