Boston: L.C. Page & Company, 1912. Dark green boards, dark green/navy/gold illustration of a cathedral on front, top edge gilt, paste-down and endpapers decorated with green village scene, 433 pages. Lightly rubbed at ends of spine and on corners, boards lightly smudged. Previous owner's name and date (1912) in ink on fly title page, strip (1 inch) on fore edge of page 1 folded over, upper corner of page 9 folder over, page 133 to 172 dog-eared on lower corner and 6 pages chipped, else pages clean throughout. Overall, very good plus. Scottish Widows Fund bookmark laid in.. First Edition. Pictorial Cover. Very Good Plus/No DJ. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
