London: Chatto & Windus, 1962. Hardback. Good. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. Green cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Pushing to spine ends, light mottling to boards, light foxing to edges, front and rear, POIs to ffep and pastedown. In the original dust jacket: price-clipped, spine sunned, extremities chipped, rear panel rubbed and soiled. Good+/ good+ A later collection of 14 short stories, with printed dedication to William Maxwell, STW's good friend and fiction editor at The New Yorker, where many of the stories first appeared.
