Half brown leather spine & corners over brown silk boards. 4 bands with lightly faded gilt lettering & decoration on spine. Marbled endpapers. VOLUME #5: [1 (title) , 483, 1]; engraved title, 6 engraved plates, 6 maps and several partial page engravings and drawings. VOLUME #6: [1 (title) , 484]; engraved title, 11 engraved plates (one hand-colored) ; 4 maps; 2 drawings of trophy cups and several partial page engravings and drawings. Text tight, clean & intact with tissue guarded plates, hinges just starting: covers firm. Light shelf wear. Both volumes have two prior owner's ink stamps on front endpaper: one belonging to industrialist "William K. Dick" of Islip, Long Island, NY. Sports, Hunting, Horses. ; B/W Engravings; 8vo; 967 pages .
