Nine vintage adult magazines, featuring erotic & sultry photography of seminude (topless) women in lingerie, at the beach, in animal print swimsuits, lounging on wicker, and other standards of the era. Included: Nos. 2, 3, 9, 12, 13, 25, 26, 30, 33. Issues 8 x 10.75 inches, saddle-stapled, color wrapper, b/w, color wrapper, early issues about 60 pages, later 98. Pre-Hippie era pinups, great fiction, articles, Weaver art (WWII vet who became a fine art painter of Indian/Native American motif), Petro, Leynnwood illustrations, Con Sellers, George H. Smith fiction, prolific glamor photographers like Vogel (cover Nos. 9, 13). Series ran 1958 close to a decade, annuals, a calendar, later issues added subtitle "The Big Magazine for the Virile Man." Fair to Very Good Plus; all w/ light rubbing & foxing, slight roll, a few short tears, spine fade; No. 26 w/ "Shefrin's Newsstand" stamp on rear, No. 2 Good only, No. 3 Fair (wrapper taped, detached), No. 12 Fair (wrapper detached, split), No. 33 title banner excised from front (remainder).
