London: Longman, Brown, Green and Longmans, 1853. Book. Good. Blue Cloth. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. viii, 92, xi pages, frontispiece, 4 folding plates (all present). Rebound in blue cloth, title and blue colour on the spine is partially worn off. Plate II is complete, a little worn and has old repairs. The other plates and the frontispiece are in very good condition. The author spent 10 weeks in Canterbury, New Zealand. He gives his impressions of Lyttelton, Banks Pensinsula and Christchurch, with observations of sheep farming stations etc..
