Deckled ages fine; very small G stamped at endpaper. Lt. red top edge. Dj lt. edge wear, rub; clipped, protected in new clear sleeve. Irving Wallace, born in Chicago, and grew up in Wisconsin, sold his first piece of writing at fifteen. He went on to write hundreds of short stories, articles, and commissioned for coverage around the world. He later became a Hollywood scenerist and wrote several successful novels w/vivid unique characters. This book explores in some depth ten individualists who scorched conformity and developed and executed their own bold paths of study and accomplishment.
